Obesity, eating habits, sedentary lifestyle, alcohol and tobacco consumption are risk factors that modify the anthropometric profile (weight, height and waist circumference), biochemistry (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and glucose), clinical (blood pressure and heart rate), and are important aspects to consider for the development of diabetes mellitus T2, in adults between 45 and 70 years of age. To carry out this work, a methodological revision was made to various articles found in crossref, pubmed and google academics, besides sources of information from government institutions were used. However, although the impact of these risk factors is known, the results continue to be negative.
