telematic platform support (G2) and a control group that was allowed to evolve under normal conditions (G1).Variables were collected: Weight, height, BMI, waist circumference, lipid parameters, blood pressure and glycemia.
Results: 120 patients were included in the study where 60 were randomized to Group 2 and 60 to Group 1. 58.6% of the study population were women and 41.4% were men. In the intervention group, the subjects reduced their weight by an average of 6.5 kg,
while the control group increased slightly more than 1`5 kg. It is observed that total cholesterol was reduced in both groups.
