Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
    • The authors undertake that the article submitted for publication is original and unpublished and is not presented simultaneously in other journals or editorial bodies.
    • Authors must include during the submission of the article their ORCID ID
    • The shipping file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
    • Wherever possible, URLs are provided for references.
    • The text is single spaced; 12 points of font size; italics are used instead of underlining (except in URLs); and all the illustrations, figures and tables are placed in the appropriate places of the text, instead of at the end.
    • The text adheres to the stylistic and biliographic requirements summarized in the Author's Guidelines, which appear in About the journal.
    1. If submitted to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring an anonymous evaluation should be followed.

Original

Quantitative or qualitative research related to any aspect of investigation in the fields object of the journal. This type of article should include a brief text before the Introduction explaining the contribution of the study to scientific literature, so that a general outlook of the most relevant content can be offered to the readers (see delivery procedure, second document, contribution to scientific literature).

Original Brief

Same features as Original publications but, published in a more concise way.

Review

Review work, preferably systematic, with or without meta-analysis, on relevant and up-to-date issues in the field object of the journal.

Letter to the Editor

This section shall include any brief communication commenting on:

  • Comments on an article previously published in the journal. Priority will be given to letters making reference to articles that have appeared in the previous edition of the journal and will therefore be published first.
  • Comments on the editorial line of the journal, also comments related to current scientific issues, as long as they convey a clear interest in the fields object of the journal.
