Abstract

Poverty and social exclusion are not a thing of the crisis. Already before it began, were present in our society. However, since late 2008 the most severe forms of poverty have increase, bringing our country to the top of the European ranking in any classification made of poverty indicators. Further, it is a dual process of impoverishment of the Spanish society: rents fall (especially the lower) and increased inequality in its distribution.
