Abstract

The concept social inclusion has been incorporated into the vocabulary of different authors and actors around the world. However, there remains unclear conceptual elements around it that hinder their theoretical and empirical approach. This work aims to identify and analyze the elements and central dimensions of the concept. In this paper is considered that the "where" of social inclusion is not in the economic, political and social spheres and less in something as abstract as "society"; the concept refers to the incorporation in the interdependent mechanisms of redistribution and recognition.
